Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
To me this verse is reassuring. It makes me realize that even in hard times, God will always be there in the end to help me through. In school sometimes I feel so bogged down with homework, classwork, band and other things. Sometimes I just feel like I will never climb out of the big hole I have dug for myself. When I read this, it reminds me that God is always there and he will not put me through something that is too much to handle. He will always be there to make me strong and help me through even the hardest things I do.
Right now I am in my junior year of high school and I am taking full IB classes. Everybody knows that junior year is the hardest and I have started to realize that it is true. The teachers are trying to prepare us for college and they all schedule the humongous projects at the same time. To be honest I never thought it could be as hard as it sometimes is. Right now I am trying to complete 4 long term projects while also focusing on my daily homework and winter color guard. I have felt like I was stuck in a hole covered in work more than a few times, but I try to stop and think about how lucky I am. I remember all of the people who care about me in my school, family and church. God will never leave me alone to fight my struggles by myself and He will always be here to help me through my struggles and I will never be lost completely.
