Gathered to Worship, Scattered to Serve
Our members seek to live lives that are intentional and integrated, not isolated and segmented. Because of this, our ministry showing God’s grace and inclusion happens on the floor of the microchip factory, in the pen with the llamas, in the classroom with the second-graders, in the decisions made in business park offices, in volunteering weekly at Cascades AIDS clinic and in interactions in medical suites, every day. A small fraction of our ministry happens collectively, in such ministries as our monthly meal at the Good Neighbor Shelter for families in Tigard, our weekly presence at the food pantry at St. Matthew’s, our participation in the local Meals on Wheels program and our ongoing contributions of food and resources to serve those in need through Care to Share in Beaverton.
