We are an intentionally lay-led community, working together for our church and our world in a spirit of service. Everybody pitches in around here! We encourage you to find something you enjoy doing and jump right in. Please contact the office if you’d like to talk about your skills, interests, spiritual gifts, and how you might find your niche at MoTA.
When you show up for the first time on a Sunday, be sure to let the greeters know that you're visiting. They'll help answer any questions you might have -- point out the restrooms or childcare, explain traveling for communion, etc. We try to start and end on time but are not rigid about it. We have members who help lead music but we do not have a band or performance instruments. There's almost always piano accompaniment, sometimes a guitar and/or drums. We use two hymnals and mostly avoid high-tech worship tools like projectors. The later service includes both communion traditions (except the last Sunday of the month). The early service includes one or the other of the communion traditions (except the last Sunday of the month). Call or email our office, especially if you're seeking a Catholic Eucharistic service.
