How Does worship Work?

We worship together as one body of Christ, making visible our unity, while recognizing our yearning for complete unity in Christ.

8:30 a.m. service: Alternates between Catholic or Lutheran communion led by a minister or priest. More contemplative, shorter service.

9:30 a.m. community hour: Coffee, fellowship, children’s education, and adult forums.

10:45 a.m. service: Hymns, homily, prayers, offering, and passing of peace together, and then separating for Holy Communion. Lively music with drums, guitar, and mandolin.

Final Sunday of each month: Lay-led Service of the Word with a potluck brunch between services instead of communion

Childcare provided from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., but children are always welcome in the sanctuary! We welcome them as dancers, questioners during children’s homilies, and ushers.

Special Services

In addition to our lay-led Final Sunday services, which feature a special topic each month and a second offering to raise money for local nonprofits, we also have a monthly celebration of Creationtide (four services that focus on caring for our Earth) and an annual LGBTQ+ welcoming service.

We love the community, pastoral leadership, and inspiring and inclusive liturgy. It’s great that there is room for lay leadership to emerge.
